From elite tennis to tech-driven events – her path led straight to Invajo
Nellie Johansson, Project Manager with a Sales Focus at Invajo
What’s your superpower at Invajo (and what should your superhero cape say)?
A responsive enabler – I take my customers’ needs seriously. I help them deliver high-quality events using our digital tools.
What gets you out of bed in the morning — besides coffee?
I look forward to the first conversation of the day. I always start my morning by calling someone I know will give me energy — whether it’s a client or a colleague. We might chat about the weather, a new feature, or plan our next project meeting.
Who are you at work — and who are you when no one’s watching?
At work, I’m the structured one always looking for ways to streamline processes. At home, I’m passionately invested in the latest GAIS match or busy cooking dinner for a party of 12. I love hosting and having friends over for food and wine.
How do you stay up to date in your field?
I don’t need to read reports — I have the privilege of working with industry experts every day. My clients are the trend. They show me where the market is heading, often before it hits any newsletter. The insights that flow through our network are 100 times sharper than anything an AI chat could deliver. I try to attend events whenever I can — in-person meetings inspire and motivate me.
What was your very first job, and how did it lead you here?
My first job was as a camp leader for juniors at Partille Tennis Club. It was a fun side gig and a great way to give back. I was part of an elite program called Next Generation, made up of Sweden’s top young tennis players. Tennis taught me how to set clear goals and go all in to reach them. That mindset brought me here — and I hope my drive brings that same energy into the Invajo spirit.
If your career were a song – which would it be, and why?
Can’t Tame Her by Zara Larsson. It’s full of energy and positivity. No challenge is too big!
What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about Invajo?
How much Invajo listens and develops the product based on what the industry actually needs. Our customers are the most important source of innovation. We want to grow and evolve with them.
If you could bring one Invajo tool to a deserted island (assuming you have Wi-Fi) – what would it be?
