Canon: A world unseen

Yesterday, we attended an exhibition that allowed us to experience photography beyond vision. The exhibition and event were hosted by Canon and took place at The contemporary museum of photography, art & culture.

Canon is carrying out an international project aiming to make photography accessible despite vision loss. By using innovative technology and tactile printing, the work of famous photographers is presented in a whole new way. You can feel the ridges, textures, and contours, and those with limited or no sight, truly get a sense of the photograph. Besides the 3D-printed version, there were presentations of each work in brail and audio form.

The project aims to revolutionize the accessibility of photographs and we are so happy to have the pleasure of hosting the registration process, thank you Canon for a night of inspiration, togetherness and thought.
