Behind the Scenes at IUFRO 2024: Our Role in Supporting Global Forestry Initiatives
We are truly excited to be on-site, diligently organizing and supporting several key aspects of the conference behind the scenes.
IUFRO 2024, now in its 26th iteration, is recognized as one of the largest and most influential congresses of its kind. This prestigious event attracts over 4,000 delegates from around the globe, making it a vital forum for the exchange of knowledge and ideas. Attendees include esteemed representatives from academia, various government bodies, leading industries, influential organizations, and the broader civil society.
Throughout the congress, participants will engage in a wide array of sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, all designed to foster collaboration and drive progress in forestry research and practice. It is crucial that everything runs smoothly during such a prestigious congress, and we are honored to have received the trust of the organizers to handle several essential components.
For instance, all 5,000+ abstracts, 1,600+ PowerPoint presentations, and 1,700+ posters have been uploaded in advance via Invajo's Abstract and registration system. In addition to abstract support, we will also manage the print-on-demand badging system, the E-poster system, and the conference app.
Our team is committed to ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for all attendees. We are currently working hard on the final details, ensuring that all equipment and systems are ready to go.
Some of the equipment that we will supply and provide technical support for includes:
- 15 Print-on-demand stations for printing participant badges.
- 30 E-poster screens for posters displayed throughout the conference.
- 30 iPads for poster presentations.
- 30 Laptops handling audio streams for the poster presentations.
We look forward to facilitating meaningful discussions, innovative presentations, and productive collaborations. The diverse perspectives and expertise of our delegates will undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing advancement of global forestry initiatives.
